In numbers we are all stronger. The SCIL community connects individuals and families working through disabilities for fun, support and learning. We also educate the greater community on issues that affect those with disabilities to promote a more productive and collaborative society.  When we join together, our voice becomes stronger and we can all accomplish more for independent living.

community access

Our community access programs help educate elected officials on local, state and federal levels.

Education and Outreach

Our education and outreach programs offer community presentations and discussion panels for businesses and individuals to obtain free information on disability laws, compliance, accommodation of disabilities, SCIL services and home access.

Youth Services

SCIL Youth Services provide benefit consulting, social events, advocacy, skill training and driver education for young individuals and those transitioning into adulthood.

Support and Recreation

Support and recreation groups offer peer-to-peer interaction for those with like-disabilities. Through social clubs, craft groups, advisory committees and group events we help the community grow together and have fun.

honoring people with disabilities

So many have given themselves to making the world a better place for those with disabilities. These are the heroes of our local and regional communities.
