Well that's a wrap for DRLD until next year. We had a great group and met with some other locals for lunch. empower: abilities had some great conversations with legislators and had one of our former Team Access members who now works for Abilities First as one of the rally speakers.
One of our board members applied to be on the newly formed Access Team which offered support for self-advocates and that group met with the Governor's Office. We offered resources in the third-floor rotunda resource area for the first time.
