Southwest Center for Independent Living (SCIL) encourages individuals with disabilities and others from the community to volunteer with the center.
You can make a difference in the life of a person with a disability and improve their quality of life. By volunteering with SCIL, you will help us further our mission and meet unmet needs. You will gain new friends, build your resume and have the opportunity to share your expertise and experiences – because at SCIL it’s all about teamwork.
We offer flexible time committments, all volunteers are screened and attend training, and with a wide variety of volunteer jobs you can work behind the scenes or directly with consumers.
If you would like to volunteer, please contact individuals below or contact the center at 417.886.1188.
